C’mon Bethesda, patch your buggy games!

I love Skyrim and bought the new DLC the day it was released. However, truth the told, Skyrim is still a bug-fest almost a year after release and multiple patches. I am still encountering broken quests and having look up console codes to fix things.

The quest to lead Derkeethus out of the cave is still glitched and requires console codes to finish. The quest to subdue a summoned Dremora will glitch if Barbas is in your party. The list goes on and on. Last night I got a picture of an NPC riding an invisible horse.

I would be happier with less DLC and more bug fixes.

This is really a sad reflection on the PC gaming industry.

  1. Nicko Says:

‘Fraid that’s Bethesda for you – always was, always will be.

DLCs make them money, bug fixes don’t. Guess where their priority lies.

The many broken quests are annoying on the PC – and infuriating on PS3/X360 where you can’t fix them.

This is a big disincentive to buy Bethesda games when they launch. I am not going to buy their games at release any more.

No such problems with any other developers. Vote with your wallet.
